Fixed bike or fixed toothed (fixed gear) is a bike with one speed commonly used track racers in the Velodrome. Here are tips on keeping fixie safe.

In recent years, fixie bikes are popular because of sleek design, fast and maintenance free. Riding a fixie bike, especially when stopping bike speed, requires certain exercises for having different brakes.

First, drive your bike in a safe area such as a parking lot with smooth surfaces or open asphalt streets and not many vehicles passing by. Do not forget to use a helmet. You may fall several times.

Second, make sure you have a laced pedal or a clipless pedal. Riding a fixie bike with a foot that is easily separated from the pedals is like climbing a cliff without a harness. If not, you are prone to accidents.

Third, start riding a bike at low speed and place your feet on a pedal or pedalclipless strap. Fourth, determine the speed well when crossing the lane.

When you are ready to stop, slide your weight to the front of the bike over the front wheels and push the pedal in the opposite direction with both feet. Be careful not to lose balance. When you are ready to move again, aim the pedal forward.

Finally, do the maneuver repeatedly to train your motor censorship while cycling. When practicing, try to gradually move your weight back when you slip. The further you lean the faster the bike stops.
